As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) at baramundi, you’ll be responsible for generating qualified initial appointments for our Account Executives. Your focus is clearly on outbound activities in the IT sector across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland—both by phone and through digital channels. 

You’ll work closely with Marketing and Sales, receive support with messaging and channel strategy, and maintain direct communication with our Account Executives.

Do what you do best:

  • FIND & UNDERSTAND CONTACTS You independently identify suitable companies in the DACH region, prioritize accounts, and conduct targeted research to prepare for outreach
  • GENERATE INTEREST You engage relevant contacts via phone, LinkedIn, or email and spark their interest in our solutions
  • SCHEDULE & HAND OVER You’ll schedule qualified initial meetings for our account executives and hand them over fully prepared—including all relevant information and context
  • STAY ENGAGED You’ll accompany prospects across multiple touchpoints and reliably document all activities in our CRM system
  • HELP SHAPE & IMPROVE You contribute real-world feedback, test new outreach approaches, and help continuously refine sequences, messaging, and processes
  • DELIVER RESULTS Your success is measured by high-quality appointments—not mere activity. You’ll try out new approaches, formulate hypotheses, test and measure results, and continuously refine your methodology—in a pragmatic, data-driven way, without unnecessary bureaucracy

What we appreciate about you:

  • Several years of experience as an SDR or BDR in a B2B environment, ideally in the IT or software sector
  • A proven track record of success in scheduling appointments for products that require detailed explanation
  • Excellent skills in cold calling and engaging with decision-makers
  • Understanding of typical IT roles and decision-making structures (e.g., IT management, CIO, CISO)
  • Experience with CRM systems and, ideally, with sequencing or outreach tools
  • High level of self-motivation, openness to new ideas, and the ability
  • Excellent German language skills as well as good English language skills for internal collaboration
